Reimagining Mental Health Care

I'm Aimee Hadfield, a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and a Certified Experiential Therapist (CET3). I've dedicated my career to exploring ways to facilitate lasting change. In 2017, I founded Hearten House, which has grown into a center for experiential therapy, training venue, and co-working space for wellbeing professionals in Salt Lake City, Utah.  You're here because you're seeking a deeper understanding, transformative growth, or effective ways to enhance your therapeutic practice. I am dedicated to guiding you on that journey.

My work is centered on reimagining mental health care™, blending experiential therapy, trauma-informed care, trauma-focused treatment, and the power of role theory. My passion is empowering you—whether you're seeking personal therapy or are a mental health professional—to discover and embody your purpose and potential.

Explore this website to find detailed information about the individual, couple, and family therapy services I offer, the 'Co-creating Transformation' training program, and consultation services for professionals. Experience matters.

Aimee Hadfield, LCSW, CET2, like most mental health therapists, has a pile of letters after her name. Here’s what they mean: LCSW = Licensed Clinical Social Worker, which means she has a Master of Social Work degree, passed a national clinical exam and completed 4,000 hours of supervised experience to get the official “L” license. CET2 - Certified Experiential Therapist, Level 2, requires a Masters degree and 200 hours of specialized experiential training, plus 20 hours of direct supervision and consultation in experiential therapy methods.

Whew. But the state requires only 20 hours a year of continuing education - in just about anything. So why do more?

Because experience matters. Aimee goes above and beyond in her training so you can go above and beyond in your healing.
